I actually like Kadri with Lucic. One is fast, one is slow. Should switch Mangiapane and Huby and I would then quite like the lines tbh

Huberdeau-Lindy-Dube
I'd try that

Do not like! A poster suggested some really great lines earlier in this thread. Maybe that poster should be the coach instead of Sutter? (Just kidding, but I’m not kidding about that poster’s lines being WAY better!)

If they fire Sutter, I'd be interested in Ted Lasso for coach

Sutter against the world. Maybe Murray is still a supporter. Or maybe he wants to get fired in time for calving season.

Im okay with Pelletier coming out. Hes an excellent puck carrier so Im sure that makes his advanced stats sexy but hes flubbed alot of passes and lacks finish. I think he figures it out long term and him sitting a game doesnt hurt. Duehr scratched after scoring and Lucic being promoted up the line-up is a head scratcher. This team is going to be what it is rest of the season. The time to fire Sutter was around the 1/3rd mark of the season. You have to assume he leaves in the off season.

Also fully expect someone to bounce in one off Lucic's ass and him too play up in the line up rest of the season as a result.

I don't think there's any internal pressure on Sutter

Duehr is tougher to understand - he hasn't had a bad game yet, IMO. Also, the Knights a re a pretty fast team and Duehr has as mush speed as any forward on the team.
Fast team. Let's double shift Lucic. Sutter is a moron. I was a big fan, but am so frustrated by Sutter this year.

Duehr scores a massive goal last game and is quite clearly the best player on that line and he’s the one who comes out?! Really?

Darryl is a doofus.

The lines are so Sutter though - if the media / fans are clamouring for one thing he has to do the opposite just because.

People want Huberdeau and Lindholm back together...cant do that.

People want Lucic and Lewis out of the lineup...not a chance.

Duehr scores last game...better take him out.

Part of me is surprised he didnt just keep the lines the same out of spite.

Veteran presence is the first consideration when formulating a lineup. Everything else is secondary. They’ll probably win tonight and we won’t see the kids for a while.

Team isn't making the playoffs so changing to the lineup isn't a big deal but scratching the young guys to keep Lucic and insert Lucic is embarrassing.

The team clearly has no chemistry so trying to find it in game 67 or whatever it is hopefully gives the new coach something to work with.

I find that a little hard to believe. He has been roasted by the fans and media for many missteps this season. His comments have come across poorly and his team has been underwhelming and his moves constantly questioned. He lost a fanbase who was ready to put his statue in front of the Dome last year. This team went 2004 to 2010 in a calendar year.

He just got a 2 year extension I haven't seen a coach canned after being extended.

Darryl is here to stay.

Jets are losing again tonight. Would be kinda cool if they could win tonight but pretty tough with 2 4th lines.
