Exactly this. Until the time is right when you can get a couple weeks of a reasonably clean exterior out of a wash.

I do if I don't have time to do a complete wash, but I also make sure I spray off all the sand and snow and dirt whenever possible. While I haven't seen it used lately, we do use brine on certain major thoroughfares in the city too, which is also something you don't want to be hanging around fenders, crevices and seams any longer than it has to.

There's no point. If anything you were saved from doing it twice in quick succession. Redeem it when the snowbanks are melted down.
You're going to have a rust bucket, then. You have to at least get the salt off from time to time even thought it'll get dirty again.

There's a CO-OP gas station on Barlow trail that sells car washes when you pump, so I bought one. Then drove around the building looking for the car wash. They don't even ####ing have one. It was for a CO-OP car wash should I happen upon one at some point down the road. WTF

At least Co-Op washes are good for any of their stations, I think that's a relatively recent change. They used to be only for the location you bought it at and I got stung once in awhile buying one across town from where I normally am only to find the wash closed.

I thought they used to give a discount depending on how much fill up was. Last time I filled up at the Hamptons Coop there wasn’t a discount, and it the car wash was closed so I had to drive to Creekside later.

Yeah and I guess that's a bonus (this was also a Co-op). Unfortunately though, I know how I am. I'm not driving to another location to use this and find out that wash is also closed for some reason. I'll keep it in hopes of one day using it, but more than likely I'll just never get my $10 car wash.

This is the time of year where getting a wash pass is so incredibly worth it.

I'd be in the same boat. Not something I'll every drive out of my way for, I'll hang onto it to try and use it next time, but more realistically I'm going to forget about it and throw the receipt out pretty quickly

Automatic car washes aren't going to get into those areas which is why I use wand wash primarily in the winter.

I despise automatic car washes. They can't even clean an SUV tailgate correctly.

Wand wash or bust.

I got stuck behind a lady the other day at Costco who was returning Costco's roasted chicken's they sell. I could probably see 25 chickens. For those who don't know, Costco has one of the most lenient return policy on most items. If your not satisfied, bring it back for your money.

When I was finally helped by the employee who did the return, I noticed that all the chickens were 1/2 or 1/3 eaten and than clued into the scam. Eat plenty of chicken, return for full refund after a complaint about taste, smell etc.

When I questioned the employee if this is a common occurrence, she said "Yes, when those people do this, they have zero remorse about the financial and food waste that this causes. She( the customer) indicated she had 35 more chickens she will bring in tomorrow"

It dawned on me that this must be a scam within a certain group of people hosting large events. This is a common occurrence from the sounds of it and I know a mountain of people who take advantage of corporate return policies all the time. Truthfully, we have gotten away from common decency in that regard and it's literally costing a fortune and the food/clothing/return waste is officially out of control.

People who pull these type of scams when there are hungry people and mountains of food is being thrown away , RGMG. In a perfect world (not happening) a stern warning to this women about this level of scam will not be tolerated. Get the message across to whatever group, community or whatever you belong to cause the next person who's returning 60 cooked birds is going to get a baseball bat to the face that they will actually fly, unlike the bird you just brought in.

I was a casual acquaintance of someone who worked at the costco return desk once. Apparently there is a level of returns where they will cancel your membership, refund it pro-rated, and apologize that the goods they sell aren't meeting your needs.

Does that include the idiots who return a big-screen TV the day after the Super Bowl game?

That’s news to me, but good for them.

Better than finding AHS has shut it down right after you at there.

As long as the place you go has the undercarriage spray on the way in.
