Or New England...but he does have world class looks!

This has the feel of when McDaniels went to Denver and got Cutler out of town but was said to want Matt Cassell. Jimmy G is w far better than Cassell ever was and this is maybe even up in terms of talent differential.. But it's like he's trading his 2002 Civic with 250000km on it for an 03 Coroalla with 265000 because he thinks the seats in the Corolla are more comfortable.

Chiefs downgrading at Offensive Tackle. Orlando Brown Jr was let go to Free agency and they signed Jawaan Taylor for 4 years and 80 million with 60 guaranteed. Likely move him to the left side and use Lucas Niang or the draft for the right side with Wylie signing in D.C.

Will see how it works out. Hopefully they're not too leaky at the edges of the line this year.

The Jets will likely get the Giants treatment in regards to prime time games and the NY media is going to eat up all that Rodgers drama. Things could go great or really bad for the Jets but it's going to be a big story from beginning to the end of the season.

Broncos on quite the spending spree today with McGlinchey ($87.5 million), Powers ($52 million), Stidham ($10 million). Sure seems like a lot of money for Stidham.

Tae Adams does not seem very happy about what has transpired today.

He was lobbying for Rodgers.

He was the one who wanted to go to the Raiders but its been pretty brutal they cut his QB he thinks they can get his QB and they give him Jimmy G lol.

Rodgers causing drama all over the place.

Not too bad, basically a one year 5 mil deal. Their current backup is XFL calibre at best so they needed someone. Coach Payton must like him

That was from a few weeks before his injury last year

Best case now for the raiders is it goes so bad next year we are in a position to take caleb Williams after everyone is fired

Paying draft capital for Rodgers would have been the lol

It's not going to take a lot to get Rodgers and he's a better qb in every aspect also with unreal chemistry with Adams.

We will see, apparently the price is high...Rodgers is also 40 next season

Jimmy G is a lateral move for Carr but cheaper and likely a vet to help the young QB they are going to draft IMO.
The cap space saved to improve the team elsewhere.

By all accounts Rodgers would have cost their 1st+ which would have been a disaster

Jimmy g is a good qb, especially at that price. Nothing wrong with this deal.

This is more than a little cherry picked...he had 4 interceptions all season with 16 touchdowns, like when is this graphic even from? They played Atlanta in mid October so Week six lol. Do we post hockey stats from November when a guy signs as a UFA?

His rating was slightly below Rodgers and slightly above Carr at 20th on the season...again spending draft capital (especially a 1st) plus $$ on 40 year old Rodgers would have been really dumb.

Personally I think they are drafting a QB and want a vet to help him along, a cheaper and equally good vet as Carr so they have money to spend elsewhere...they have done a lot of cap clearing lately.

It's not a secret that Garoppolo struggles throwing deep. Raiders have plenty of options in the short to intermediate passing game with Renfrow in the slot, Adams, and Waller. I expect McDaniels will go back to the Patriots tried and true dink and dunk offense which suits Jimmy's strengths. The contract is decent enough value but the division is so strong that it's hard to get excited about their chances at making the playoffs unless they can unearth some really good players to fill all their defensive holes.

The Chicago Bears are giving Buffalo Bills free agent linebacker Tremaine Edmunds a four-year, $72 million contract that includes $50 million guaranteed, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

It is the largest four-year contract for an inside linebacker in the NFL.

Jimmy was a game manager and system QB. He will be exposed out of that 49ers system that had Brock Purdy looking like the league MVP.

Not only that but he is always injured. This is a clear downgrade at QB. Forget Rodgers you could have kept Carr.

McDaneils will be back in New England in no time.
