I don't know, they might actually have struck gold here ... but maybe that's just me.

I'd be surprised if players give motd interviews tomorrow

Lineker is very popular

What an absolute debacle of monumental proportions by the bbc

The BBC team of commentators has also backed out of the show meaning they'll have to use the Premier League world commentary that we get here.

I was going to respond that clubs probably have some sort of contractual obligation.

But then.

https://twitter.com/user/status/1634309703369912328

There's also the matter of who would be there to interview them?

https://twitter.com/user/status/1634333481302982656

Haha eff the Beeb and the Tories.

They should just go the whole nine yards and get Joey Barton in to present it.

What you've posted is true. But also up for consideration is the chance that players won't do BBC interviews because the BBC may have no one to interview them.

Even David Attenborough is not escaping the wrath of the right wing in this country. He has now been cancelled by the BBC :https://www.theguardian.com/media/20...backlash-fears

Don't tell me cancel culture is a left wing thing.

really cool to see David Brooks back in the Bournemouth squad for the first time in over 500 days after his cancer diagnosis.

Has FSG sold to ENIC? That’s peak Spurs right there.

Had Bournemouth held on to beat Arsenal, they'd really be trending comfortably to safety.

Great result for the Cherries.

- Lineker harshly criticized the British immigration policy on Twitter, likening it to things that happened in Germany in the 30s
- the British government didn't take kindly to that
- BBC chairman Richard Sharp is a Tory acolyte, who once arranged a £800k loan for Boris Johnson
- the BBC dropped Lineker, which has sparked outrage given the ties of Sharp to the Tories
- pretty much everybody has since shown solidarity with Lineker

that whole episode has made for some funny moments though.

Bottom of the table Bournemouth scored in the first half.
Shoulders blasted a penalty wide.
Game finished 1-0

Well. That was the shortest and strangest MOTD ever.

A maybe 15 minute show with replay of the goals with fake crowd noise.

I didn’t watch it.

The BBC has been hijacked by the right wing lunatic fringe of the Conservative Party.

I’m cancelling my TV Licence direct debit. I’ll happily pay for a public service broadcaster but I won’t pay for a mouthpiece for those c###s.

I seriously think this you're the first person I've conversed with that has a licence.

I watched it out of pure curiosity.

They've always been c#@"$. Sure BBCNI was up in court in Belfast this week accused of being what every nationalist in the North already knows.

That as it pertains to sports coverage. They're a sectarian organization.

Complete domination from /arsenal in the first half. A couple of golden opportunities wasted and a mm away from it being 0-6 at the half.
