I hate the Oilers but watching them play is entertaining. Watching Flames play is depressing and frustrating. Lucic is like adding salt on the wound

If they can't come back even once this period after two periods...against one of the worst teams in the league with almost nothing to play for, they really don't deserve to have a sniff of the playoffs.

Not really. He’s a supremely talented player being coached by someone who has played him on his off-wing for the vast majority of the season while using Lucic and Ritchie as his left wing and a centre who he clearly has no chemistry with all season.

Stupid coaching can make a lot of things go really bad.

I have never seen a player be so against taking one timers as Kadri. Huby gave at least 3 tonight for a perfect one timer and he just can’t do it, one of the reasons they don’t fit together.

If they don’t make playoffs, Sutter should be fired for his handling of Lucic. There is no reason Duehr should be sitting and Lucic playing, particularly against a team like the Ducks where you need a good fast forecheck. Pretty stupid actually.
