Florida in almost an identical position in the standings as the Flames.

Being down 2-0 to the Hawks won't help their chances.

Won in OT...lost to the Hawks already this season

A big reason for the Panthers being able to win the game was the perfect PK going 6/6. The Bhawks couldn't convert on the PP. Mrazek was solid in net for the Bhawks making 39 saves. The cats dominated the 2nd and 3rd periods and the victory puts them in 9th place of the eastern conf. They're just 2 points back of the Penguins and 4 back of the Islanders.
