Ready for this snow and cold weather to move on. For the love of god, please. It's time.

I also enjoy winter and I have fun doing various outdoor winter activities but this one has sucked. There were very few times where the weather was actually suitable.

We have so much snow on the ground I'm wondering if there will be a lot of snow piles well into May.

I don't know for certain, but this winter seems more humid or something so it feels colder. It seems like there's been a bunch of fog days.

The constant sprinkles of snow are a pain in the ass. I'd rather shovel once for a bigger dump of snow than go outside 4-5 times for a pathetically low level of snow. It's very little snow on a day to day basis, but enough that if I let it compact, the ice is a royal pain in the ass.

When the weather gets warm for a few days in a row, I often shovel snow onto my driveway and use the warm concrete to melt a few batches of snow a bit faster. That way if we get dumps of snow again, I don't have to manually throw snow over a pile that is as high.

I don't mind the cold, but regularly having to shoveling snow almost every day and/or multiple times per day is getting old

Did the mountains get as much as we did in the city? With a cold snowy March delaying the spring thaw, I wonder if we're in for some more June flooding

Mountains are doing okay, but there still isn't a deep base to speak of.

With the right combo of warm weather and rain, I'm sure even with a smaller snowpack there could be flooding risk. Just snowpack, though? I don't think the mountains are setting any records this year.

Same, last winter I was able to ride the motorbike at least once every month, this time, I haven't been on it since November due to the constant crap road conditions/ice.

On the plus side:

Sizzling temperatures return: Here's your first look at Canada's summer 2023 forecast

https://curiocity.com/canada-summer-weather-forecast/

Quote:
“Temperatures at times will soar into past 32°C, in some cases even approaching 37°C. Factor in the oppressive humidity and heat indices (“feels like” temps) could approach 40°C in some areas.”

These areas likely include Quebec and the Maritimes, which the Farmers’ Almanac describes as “scorching” this summer, as well as the Prairie provinces – which they labelled below as "broiling."

I take issue with the Ontario-centric map projection they chose.

I mean it's the Farmer's Almanac. It's basically Miss Cleo.

Is broiling hotter or cooler than scorching?

Well if it's gonna be hot, the precipitation is good to keep fire risk lower. But since it's all darts in a board, it's not worth worrying about.
