When users get permanently-banned are their offending posts deleted? There's a who's who of banned posters in this thread but who I look at their immediate post histories I can't see any obvious ban-worthy posts.

Continually fewer people are using boards like this, and trolling is definitely less popular. The bad seeds have almost entirely been weeded out at this point. It's just a slowly dwindling group of largely middle aged men.

Other than for being an annoying arsehole, anything worth banning a user over is pretty likely something that would get removed, I would think.

Yeah, typically. I've had the honour of reading a couple of the posts before they get deleted and the user banned. And yeah, they go NUTS.
