We've won 2 games in a row. I can see why we are rolling with the same lines.

I know the mang/backlund/coleman line is good, but i think backlund is better used with rookies. Pelletier or Coronato should be with him.

Lucic being outscored 10-2 should keep everyone up at night. We have younger, faster alternatives who could break even in his spot.

Sutter really does seem intent in proving how much smarter he is than everyone else. I don't think there is a single other person who would line the players up like this.

Maybe he just wants to show 17M+ line looks like to Treliving

I'd keep Pelts and Huby together as they always seem great together.

I'm liking Ritchie with Huberdeau and Kadri. Let the new guys work it out.
Small sample size but looks pretty good so far. Especially the Wild game where we got caved in 5v5.

xGF% - Kadri 72.40%, Huberdeau 66.12%, Ritchie 64.99%
CF% - Kadri 67.86%, Huberdeau 64.29%, Ritchie 62.07%

xGF% - Kadri 60.36%, Huberdeau 39.48%, Ritchie 59.58%
CF% - Kadri 69.57%, Huberdeau 57.69%, Ritchie 66.67%

It certainly doesn’t keep me up at night but I am passionate about this team and want them to succeed. So, yes, it irks me that the coach is letting his relationship and history with the player cloud his judgment. I will continue to criticize decisions that clearly hurt this team, and I see nothing wrong with doing so as a fan.
If it doesn’t bother you then that’s perfectly okay too.

If this happens, I think the odds of Coronato dressing at all during the playoffs are pretty slim with Darryl Sutter as coach unless there are a raft of injuries.
ETA: Would they be able to send Coronato down to the Wranglers for their playoffs instead or no because he wasn't on their roster at the TDL?

I’d love to see Dube and Duehr on a line together. Both play with speed and a little juice.

Dube is our designated player to play up and down the lineup. Mangiapane was the same way not too long ago. He just clicks with Backlund and Coleman better than anyone else. Let Dube be the guy that moves around the lineup. It will only get him better playing with different people. Reminds me of Frolik when he was used everywhere.
Let's not make any changes until they're not working. He still plays special teams.

Also in a game where little things can be the difference between winning and losing and the margin is so thin, little smart decisions like pruning the dead weight can make a big difference.

I don’t agree with the “it’s working, we’ve won two in a row so don’t change”. Last game they didn’t score, they were the second best team, their goalie bailed them out, and they actually lost in OT. They should only be able to change their lineup if the Wild player was deemed onside on that play?
Makes no sense.

Did they not score 5 the game before with the same lineup?

All I’m saying is that “they’ve won two in a row, don’t change things” seems overly simplistic to me given the way the second game went.

I don't think Ritchie with the Hubie/Naz line has been that bad other than Hubie and Naz not really having chemistry. We're playing well and I think we've been a bit more balanced lately.

Muller mentioned that they want more consistent speed up the middle, and Dube was a natural choice to fill that role.
