Man...
Sickens me to see Dube on the 4th line with those plugs.
If you're going to bury him, at least give him Rosie and Duehr to play with.

Only logical explanation is Darryl punishing Hube/Kadri.

If we make the dance... and Coronato is deemed ready to come up:
Huberdeau - Lindholm - Coronato
Pelletier - Kadri - Toffoli
Mangiapane - Backlund - Coleman
Ritchie - Dube - Lewis
Lucic/Ruzicka/Duehr
Maybe crazy to promote a rookie to top line but would be good to try imo.

They have won two hard fought games in a row against top teams. Seems like it would be odd to switch it up. Let the lines roll until they lose.

It might be punishment. It might actually be a progression for Dube to get him some centre reps. It might be as simple as not changing anything when the team is on its longest winning streak in months.

Darryl is very smart. Trust him. The team is doing great with his lineups
We are getting a preview of the Kadri Huberdeau era for the next 6 yrs

Lines should be
Pelletier-Lindholm-Toffoli
Dube-Kadri-Huberdeau
Mang-Backlund-Coleman
Ritchie-Lewis-Duehr
Dube should not be punished and be on the 4th line
Ritchie should not be rewarded on the 2nd line and should be punished for his stupid penalties so 4th

Even they won last game, they didn't score.
Not really understand keeping Huber and Kadri together.
And we need speed if Dube is 4th line
My best line would be:
Huberdeau-Lindholm-Pelletier
Mangi-Backlund-Toffoli
Ritchie-Kadri-Coleman
Lewis-Dube-Duehr.
Everyline has some kind of 2 way players also scoring touch.

Changes needed:
- Separate Kadri and Huberdeau
- Get Duehr back in
- Get Lucic out
Even when we're on a winning streak, we can make smart changes

I think Sutter sees some Gudbransen in Ritchie and wants to see if he can unlock that by giving him this opportunity. I think Dube adds some speed and skill to the 4th line and I am glad they put him there over Pelletier for now.

Since Pelletier took over for Lucic in the top nine on January 26th.. Milan has one point in 17 games and has been outscored 10-2 at even strength, while of course being our worst analytic forward, but hey, he's not hurting us, right guys?
Sutter needs to get out of his own damn way and optimize this lineup for once.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but I'm shocked at your day in day out singular focus.
The choice for forward #12 just doesn't keep me up at night.

I can see the logic why Dube is on the 4th. Dube has always played pretty good with Lucic and this also gives Dube reps at C. I also think our 4th line hasn't been great so maybe it's adding some stability on that line. I don't think Ritchie with the Hubie/Naz line has been that bad other than Hubie and Naz not really having chemistry. We're playing well and I think we've been a bit more balanced lately.

If it's working I say continue to run with it. Dube can play a supporting role for now and then you make changes if and when required. At this time we need points so player positioning is secondary to the bigger goal of getting wo points.
