Questions are traded in advance of the show, so both parties know what's coming entering into the theater that is question period.
So it's not like Trudeau didn't know what was coming. Which also speaks to how brutal his fumbling around is. Also, for PP, why ask questions if they truly are matters of national security and drone on asking the same question you know he won't or can't answer?
If he can't answer he can't answer? Why not switch it up and state, "we won't ask for specific names in the interest of national security but can you acknowledge whether or not this is true?" Trudeau will still obfuscate and look like a moron, but try to continue boxing him in rather than just the same "Yes or no" and sitting down.
All of it is kind of dumb, anyway. It should borderline be illegal not to have to answer questions IMO, but that would be an impossible standard to referee too. Not much stops the Canadian government from doing just whatever it wants without any oversight whatsoever, and this should be concerning for all Canadians no matter what party you support.

This is trump level lol. It's not malicious but it's depressing to see everyone fall prey to these #### tier political theatre tactics.
It would be much more impactful to come at Weston with a rhetorical knife instead of a PR photo campaign. His pockets could ####ing crush the NDP at a PR campaign if that's what he wants. Kill him in the arena he can't match you in.

The one time we need the NDP to not be complete assclowns so that their Provincial affiliate can flush the current Provincial Government out and they pull this crap.
