Flames have to win 12 games

They play 11 non-playoff opponents. Win the games you're supposed to win and you're in

And a major. You can't goalie steal anymore than what Markstrom did tonight.

If Markstrom is on his game the rest of the season the Jets are missing the playoffs.

It's wild how often I see/hear Oilers fans complaining about how "lucky" the Flames are. Not only is it hilarious that fans of the luckiest team in the last 50 years would complain that another team is lucky, but we lead the league in posts and are 32/32 teams in PDO.

Man.. I was very confused on the offside review. Glad some people on here pointed out that it was the pass and not the possession.

Minnesota is a tough team to generate offense against but the Flames did have a few opportunities. Toffoli hitting the crossbar seemed like it might be as close as they would come.

Markstrom was superb. Obviously his best game all season. Hopefully he can play at a truly elite level to close this final stretch out.

Weegar and Toffoli are playing so well. I really think this is the Weegar I was expecting. I know his underlying numbers have been good this season but he looks more dominant right now. Toffoli has been clutch but I have to hand it to him on effort and winning battles all over the ice.

I liked Pelletier's clever skating and drop pass in the defensive zone when it seemed like he might turn it over. He's a really smart player.

I would love to see Ruzicka-Dube-Duehr get a shot. It would be tough to be worse than the current fourth line and I think it might actually have an interesting mix of size, speed, and skill.

One game at a time... Now we'll see if the team can score and get goaltending as t the same time? Glad we won't see the Wild again... Tough team to create against.

Another strange game in a strange season. Can understand the confusion when even the NHL app notified me of a Wild OT goal and victory. Here is a meme:

Dear Oilers fan there is another part of the game called defense. I'm not surprised you don't understand that you can't outscore all your problems.

Backlund with one of the worst 2 weeks ago vs Vegas, tonight it was Kadri.
Kadri’s change wasn’t great, but Mangi had a bad read by not getting back when Kadri was already high.

4 segments to go ... one 5 game, three 4

Can lose one in each segment and they're likely in.

Don't you want to go back and slap all the Monahan bashers during last season? Talk about wall of shame material.
