The surprise score on the OOT has the BJs up 4-1 over the Penguins.

The Panthers lead 2-1 over the Knights and that game is on TVA Sports in French.

The Lightning strike four times, 4-1 over the hapless Flyers.

Good news, the Panthers continue to lead 2-1 over the Knights.

The Habs are up 3-2 on the Hurricanes and the Devils also leaf by the same score over the stinkin' Leafs. The significance of these scores could mean that the Devils will tie Carolina for first place in the Metropolitan division!

Pens score three times in the first four minutes of the 3rd to tie things up.

DeAngelo just speared Perry right in the nutsack.

I've never seen that in the NHL.

Don't look now but the cats are navigating their way to a playoff spot.

I think Draisaitl has done that like 2 or 3 times, just never been caught.

With a loss tonight the Sabres and Sens are 2 pts back with 2 games in hand. No guarantee they get the points needed to move ahead. Panthers not technically in a playoff spot yet but are very close...

The Penguins complete the 4-0 comeback and win it in overtime!

The Hurricanes and Habs are going to the shootout.

Wildcard race:

PIT: +9
NYI: +7
-----------
BUF: +6
OTT: +5
FLA: +4

And they are 5-5-0 in their last 10. What are you seeing that I'm not seeing?

If the Sabres lose that means the Islanders win and go four up on them though

It's actually

PIT: +10
NYI: +8 (assuming tonight's result holds)
-----------
BUF: +5 (assuming tonight's result holds)
OTT: +5
FLA: +5

Panthers just need the Islanders to go on a skid and they have a clear path to the playoffs if they can take care of their own business.

in other words, they gained no ground tonight on the 2 teams holding the wildcard spots

Can't just ignore Buffalo and the Sens who are tied...the "don't look now" suggests they are on a run or something. 5-5 in their last 10. They have lost ground.

They can beat the Jets Saturday though...that spot seems like a waste of 8 days for any of those teams

Why all the pushback? Get your facts straight at least. They are 6-4-0 in their last 10 and have absolutely gained some ground in the playoff race.

the only team they have gained on is PIT (5-5-0)

against the other 4, they are either even on have lost ground

so I guess everybody needs to get their facts straight
