So very frustrating especially when you look at the teams ahead of us. Some more consistent even league average goaltending and the flames are likely battling for the top spot in the Div. A solid off-season could get them right back on track if it’s paired with career average performances by key positions next year (I’m looking at you Marky, Huby and Kads). Really liking the first showing of Ritchie here though have to see a lot more yet to want to see him signed, he has been what’s been missing from the net front on the PP though. Lots of season left, basically a quarter, if any team could will themselves into the playoff picture from where they are it’s a Sutter team.

Pair with that potentially seeing Coronato added into the top 9 along with a full season of Pelts and I could see a much quicker, younger group of forwards which should help push Huby and Kads back towards their career averages.

Point wise Kadri is playing to the numbers he has put up the baffling part is everything else that is missing from his game. The fire and chip on shoulders has been non existent.

I was thinking both goalies, Huberdeau and Mangiapane improve, and all are extremely possible. Especially the two higher priced guys.

I haven’t compared his powerplay versus regular strength points. I’m betting he has a bigger percentage this year. The power play seems to go through him, as bad as that is.
