I’m not a mod but I’ll chime in. There’s nothing stopping you from calling out those posts yourself. Maybe you should dedicate more of your time to that and less time to posting “certain attitudes” and then trying to justify those “attitudes” as ok because of what someone else posted. Just a thought.

Give “be less racist” a shot and update us on your progress.

Fair enough...and, I ended up getting banned short term for those "attitudes", did the OP or any others chiming in get banned for the meth head "attitudes"? So then if I posted something unflattering about Hindu or Filipino meth heads then this would be acceptable?

Again, I’m not a mod so I’m not sure why you’re asking me what would and wouldn’t be acceptable but IMO I think you’d be better off calling out or reporting these posts you disagree with in the threads where they’re posted and when they’re posted instead of bringing them up elsewhere to try and play the victim because someone calls you out for continuing to post racist comments after you’ve already been warned to stop doing so by the mods.

The internet really isn’t as complicated as you’re trying to make it out to be.

"Other posters don't get in trouble for polarizing crackheads but I'm not allowed to be racist" sure is an interesting angle though

The current political environment has certainly emboldened those with racist tendencies. I read a headline today where Republicans are getting more and more comfortable in openly voicing their homophobia. That's probably Trump's greatest gift to these idiots all over the world.

Eta: came across this article and wanted to share.

Maybe check out the definition of bigotry. Fact is the ongoing post to do with crackheads is a form of bigotry....I can label peeps as well. It's easy.

Many weren't happy with a lot of what was said in the "crack/methhead" thread, either. Mod wise, I don't really know, because I don't see most of what they do/don't do.

There’s no need to be timid. If you find something disagreeable, then call it out or report it or whatever.

I always get a chuckle how Atlantic Canada will only vote liberal.
This is a relatively new thing.

In 2011 in Atlantic Canada - Conservatives won 14 seats, Liberals 12, NDP 6. Even in the last election the Conservatives won 8 seats in the east.

So its not like they are unwilling to vote Conservatives. The current Conservatives just aren't appealing to the region.

Quoting my own post!

This is the risk the Conservatives have with PP. They may run up the score in Alberta/Saskatchewan and rural Canada by taking back the PPC vote and end up with a higher overall vote share - but still get blasted in seats in the GTA, Montreal, Vancouver and every other urban area in Canada and end up winning less seats.

Then they will claim democracy is broken, because they had more votes.

I have yet to see any significant momentum for PP in the GTA area. He's really not doing enough to make his vote count here. He seems to be campaigning in places like Hamilton and London, but isn't making inroads into the GTA. In fact the "Alberta is Calling" campaign is probably more visible than anything the CPC is doing, and that campaign is really all about affordable house prices (of which prices here are now dropping).

The recent win by Liberals in the Mississauga-Lakeshore federal byelection really seems like a microcosm of how the GTA feels at large at the moment.

Gotta wonder if insecurity isn’t rearing its ugly head when someone feels the need to tell everyone that their wife is hot over social media.

Conservative except when it comes to photoshopping his biceps. What an embarrassment.

Well when I first read the tweet I thought it was his daughter so I guess this is at least better than that, haha

I'm willing to accept those are his real biceps, and to prove it he should step in the ring with Justin. I don't care who wins, I'm just here for entertainment.

China attacking democracy, pfft, but how about them bicep photo shopping and adoring his wife.

While I think these kind of posts are pretty cringe worthy, we all know plenty who do the same in our personal lives.

I did not look super close, However, he is holding the cake with his left arm, I see no reason why that might not be real.
