Honestly tried saying anything negative about him, but our 84 Million Dollar Man is pretty disappointing. As is Kadri. Toffoli has been underwhelming. Just a bit of bleh.

Toffoli is having a career year. If you expected more you're expectations need to be adjusted. That's not on Toffoli

What reason does a Flames fan have for hope?

The team is bad. It is old and getting older. It has basically no cap space next year. It has a bottom 10 group of prospects. It has less than a full compliment of picks.

I guess we’re just hoping that this team can rebound significantly enough next year that it can challenge for a Stanley Cup?

The Oilers have always had more fans, due to their dominance with Gretzky etc. Now having the current best player in the world in Mcdavid who is generational and another top 4/5 elite player in Draisatl, yet again, will only increase the number of kids choosing Edmonton.
