Tre just said Chris Snow is in the emergency room texting him about the Flames. All the best.

This isn't a winning battle. And everyone knows it. It's really tough watching this unfold. Life is so brittle.
I appreciate Kelseys honesty through all this. Watching the realization hit her has been heartbreaking. Now she's just exhausted. Incredible family. Allowing the world to witness this diseases effect on life.

I knew from the press conference posts what it was going to be.
I kind of assume a headline change would happen for anything serious.

I'm going to hate when it becomes his passing.
I think it's awesome that he's still fighting and Kelsie and the kids are right beside him giving him lots of love and support.

Every time I see this thread bumped, my heart skip and say a prayer before I open it.

Sorry, friends. Tre got emotional at the end of the press conference and mentioned it. I thought it was worth passing along good wishes from CP.

And a lesson on what should really matter. Whatever the team does or does not do and whatever we all think they should or should not do doesn’t matter one bit. We’d all trade a lifetime of team mediocrity to have the people we love die of old age over any heartless disease.

Damn. What a warrior.
Kudos to Treliving for sharing that, I'm guessing it was Cami Kepke from Global who asked the question.

I agree with this....to some extent. Your comment reminded me of Stuart Scott's speech at the ESPY's years ago. It's a pretty emotional speech, especially considering he passed away from his battle with cancer shortly after. He talked about the notion of 'losing' his battle with cancer. It could be cancer or ALS or whatever, but you're not losing the battle if you fight like crazy. You beat it. Here's a short transcript of his speech:
Quote:
I also realized something else recently. You heard me kinda allude to it in the piece. I said "I'm not losing. I'm still here, I'm fighting. I'm not losing." But I've gotta amend that. When you die, that does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live and in the manner in which you live. So, live. Live. Fight like hell.

Bit of a loaded question, wasn’t overly impressed with it as she had to know it was going to get Brads emotions going.
**** ALS , all the best to Snowy.

It's not a big deal to ask the question given it was at the tail end...
It's not something we should brush under the rug. Wrong approach IMO. We should come together and acknowledge it. It matters. Besides, snowy should get a shout out for being in on the action today and not letting that #### deter him.

I just saw Brad's presser. That was raw and hard to watch.
As he said, think we as fans or him as a GM had a hard day? Perspective people.
