The Flames should just keep Nick Ritchie on the 4th line for the next 6 years and stop wasting assets on the 4th line players. Just keep him there. Don't bring him up the lineup... Maybe the 3rd line in a pinch.

What does it matter. They are both free agents after this year. Makes the team a little better at zero cost and MacKay probably wanted out so he could get a chance to play.
