"Hi, I'm mayor of Dallas Fort Worth Mattie Parker and I'd like to welcome you..."
Hi Mattie, I'm Fuzz, and after 8 hours "sleeping" on a bench with immovable armrests listening to your message every five minutes, I'd like to kill you.
Fun fact:
DFW airport is in neither the City of Dallas or Ft Worth.
" Located roughly halfway between the major cities of Dallas and Fort Worth, DFW spills across portions of Dallas and Tarrant counties and includes portions of the cities of Grapevine, Irving, Euless, and Coppell."

I'm pretty sure the phones make a chime even when on silent/DND. It's the emergency alert after all. I know mine and all my colleagues was on silent/DND. Or do you mean the phone is even louder if not on silent?
I know I can go into settings and disable emergency alerts and tones, but I decided against it. I'm assuming that's what you've done?
I think it depends on the phone, maybe the carrier too. I've definitely had them come in silent before.
Or maybe the alerts just don't function properly. More tests required!

We have a guy that works here who is just always wandering around singing and whistling. It's really quite strange. I mean a whistle here and there isn't unusual but to be walking around singing songs all day is a little annoying. He's also a terrible singer (and he wanders around a lot).

What type of music?
I suggest you and a few other join in and sing along, he might get the not so subtle hint.

They're known as natives or indigenous people. Indians warriors are from another continent. Maybe they also made pemmican and you are talking about them but it sure looks like you're using an outdated word to describe a group of people which is inappropriate

Thanks for the replies, yeah that's reasonable.

i guess this is a gear grinder.... just doing an order today that is 16 adidas jackets for a local soccer group
the pic below shows all the garbage plastic used in packing the 16 jackets.... but don't worry... note the tag on the outside of each jacket to make you feel like an environmental warrior! ha!
I had my airpods in, listening to music on the phone, and the music would just go quiet, and then about a second later the alarm would go off and I’d have to acknowledge it. It wasn’t particularly jarring though.

Did the homeless guy smoking up next to you get an alert?
