People often misunderstand how hard it is to play .700 hockey. Not a single team in the West has played .700 hockey this year. The closest is Vegas at .639

But it's not that hard or unusual to play .700 hockey over a smaller sample size. 7 teams have played .700 hockey in their last 10. For 20 games it's hard, but not impossible.
