I'm cheering for the first Leafs shot not to go in the net. Baby steps

It was one of those shows that defined my generation. The late 90s early 2000s teens

What Harvey the Hound says before every game:
"Power to install school spirit and make people cheer. But with great power comes great responsibility. I'd be letting the school spirit down if I didn't show, and the school spirit is a ghost who will kill me if I fail. Ghosts are scary guy."

We're gonna get a shutout tonight.
And before you all tell me I jinxed it, we haven't gotten one this season, so not predicting a shutout doesn't help either... might as well give it a shot.

I hope Pelletier and Huberdeau keep slowly (or quickly) building chemistry and they both blossom into impact players. I’m thinking if there was even 1 regular game breaker on the team (Andersson has had a few moments) the group’s confidence goes up and everyone starts burying their chances at a higher rate. Along that line of thinking I’ve been fantasizing Coronnato or Wolf if given an opportunity could step in and have ‘game breaker’ results that could infuse the group with a little bit of confidence which tips the scales.

I must say, the French Connection has me more hopeful for the next couple seasons with Huberdeau
Good, proven pairings with chemistry can do wonders for individual player output
What Huberdeau has needed since starting here is someone who understands his game, and has the quickness and foresight to capitalize on Huby's strengths
I'm convinced this is what was eventually developed in Florida and why his point production took off
His game doesn't work independently, but with cerebral players that are well suited to his game, he can build effective pairings with those types of players and be very productive

I wouldn’t call Sam Bennett a cerebral player. But he did have chemistry.
