I could see a 2024 1st to align to their competitive window better

Quite the day for trades. It is probably time for the sports networks to re-think their trade deadline broadcasts. They can probably just do a 2 hour summary show around deadline time because it looks like it is going to be a slow Friday.

Boy that would be a tough sell if I’m in ownership’s seat. Fork out massive contracts for Huby and Weegar and then retreat to pay money for another team’s player because a season went bad.
