Per capfriendly they have $3.5m of space without replacing snotface.
Elkhome's $6.5 needs to be discounted by half, and that carries into the next few seasons.
The Oink will need the Preds retain $9m in total. Salary retention alone thats a 1st and 2nd rounder.
Poile & Trotz must be salivating. Then the asset value of the player. Another 1st?
THEY SHOULD ABSOLUTELY DO IT.

Can't see why Nashville would retain salary for that long. They can attract free agents so loading up with picks and picking up new guys is a good option for them.
