Shapo is playing Acapulco and has a tough opening round match against Kecmanovic starting at 5 pm Calgary time. Denis leads the H2H 2-0 with both wins on outdoor hard so he should have positive vibes going into tonight's encounter. Winner faces the winner of Isner vs. Fritz.

Shapo serves for the match at 5-4, gets broken at love, and then breaks Kecmanovic. Serving for the match again at 6-5 in set 3
Edit: Shapo pulls it out 6-7 6-0 7-5. Denis will take on Taylor Fritz next.

Old man Feliciano Lopez just came out of his tennis coffin to beat the skinny beanpole from Georgia known as Christopher Eubanks in Acapulco 7-6(3) 6-4.
So the old man still has some semblance of a tennis pulse after all.
On the flipside this is a greatly embarrassing loss for Eubanks. But wait, it gets better. Eubanks also lost to another basically washed up Guido Andreozzi just days before this.

Felix advances (survives) over Maxime Cressy 7-6 3-6 6-3. Cressy is a nightmare of an opponent and he set a new record today for double faults in a three set match hitting 25. FAA gets Sonego in the next round.

Has to be pretty jarring in today's era to face a 6'7" player that serves and volleys like it's still 1992. He's also had a pretty good start to the year so certainly not an easy out.
