Lafreniere scored in the first period and Trochek has just scored two minutes into the second period, 2-0 Rangers. Trochek scores again 95 seconds later, 3-0.

It looks like Quick's career is over. In his last 12 starts he's only had a single game where he's posted a SV% above .900 and he's averaging just over .850 in that span. It will be interesting to see if he retires after the season or tries to stick around as a backup but given his play this season I don't know if any team should entertain that.

Markstrom is putting to similar numbers. We can only hope he retires.

Tell me Gio wouldn’t still look good on the Flames.
He would settle down the D quite nicely.

Help, save, whatever.

Seattle is so bad. How do they have the record they do? Leafs are getting nonstop Grade A scoring chances.

The Penguins are pouring on offensive plays. They have scored six goals in the middle frame. They were down 2-1 after twenty minutes.

Winnipeg seems to be doing a pretty good job keeping the Flames close too, although it hasn't been easy with the Flames record the last 10.

PTSD when I read this which brought me back to that playoff game where he allowed that goal from the goal line along the boards

Never seen a goalie get pulled after one goal in the playoffs.
Hard to argue with Gullly’s yank though.
