Is he wrong? When you’ve absolutely lost all confidence in your goalie you try to fill the net. Completely changes how they defend with zero trust that a save wil happen.

This. 100%. Once goalies have been here long enough they all become worse with similar problems/flaws in their game. Goalie coaching is broken and has been for so long.

How is it not his fault.
The puck is above the circle - why is he so deep in the blue paint of his crease and why is he not square to where the shot is coming from?
He's getting beat on these shots because of fundamentals.

Any good goalies on the market, or pending FA's?
Both our goalies suck.

Marky is cooked. Can we afford to hope he bounces back next season? This team can't compete with top teams but nothing will change.
Ownership isn't interested in winning though, just profits from getting in.
Really depressing as a fan...

I’m done blaming anyone else. Markstrom has to make a save. He’s being paid to make the saves other guys can’t. He has single-handedly sewered this team. If he was even league average this team is comfortably in a top-2 spot in the Pacific.

Bad defense, bad offense.
Last year, they’d ring the puck around the offensive zone boards to tire out the defenders and then set up the slot pass / drive to the net. This year, they just keep ringing it around the boards until they turn it over.

Not all on him but if we would just stay big there's a good chance that shot hits him. But, no, he drops and leaves all that net open up top.

It's to the point where is commercial on goaltending versus goals/shots.

Because 3 payers screened him and he's not 5x6. And because it was a pass to a one timer. He plays as far back as most goalies.

The Avs have been quite good lately and look to be getting their game back just in time for the post season. Wouldn't be surprised to see them make it in and go on another run.

Starting goalies are paid to save the easy ones and most of the hard ones. The "it's not his fault" everytime it's a half decent chance is nonsense.

That clearly isn't what happened on that goal, at all.
