Completely unnecessary.

I figured if they didn’t win both against the wild and get 6 of the 12 points in the other games they’d be done. So far they have 3.

Lose the next 3 and I think it’s bye bye 2023 Flames.
.600 against playoff teams

I would be more concerned about a stretch against bottom feeders killing their season

It's more likely that they'll show up consistently with that line up of teams

Going to assume Kadri will bring monster games vs COL and TOR as well

Tough loss last night all things considered. Would've been nice to finally beat the Knights in their own barn, but alas, it wasn't meant to be.

3rd periods also continue to be a problem for this team whether closing games out or trying to come back. The Flames are still the only team without a 3rd period comeback win and they've went from 4th in the NHL (last year) in win% leading after 2 compared to this season where they sit 23rd.

It's definitely a big change from last season where the team looked elite at closing out games vs this season where they sit in the bottom 10. Haven't looked into it too closely, but despite having the same coach & strategy, for whatever reason, this team has definitely struggled to hold on to leads this season. Very disappointing for a veteran laden line up.

Not sure how you got .600% against teams in the playoffs.

Flames record vs. teams with better than .530 win percentage is .533%
Flames record vs. teams with worse than .530 win percentage is .625%

I didn’t even do any editing. It was from Lucic’s 1,000th game when the boys all wore his jersey for warm-ups lol

Boston tears every one apart. The swagger in that room must be off the charts

It will be nothing to be ashamed of

Tinfoil hat alert here, but I was at this game and I've come up with the theory that Vegas pipes in crowd noise.

10-15% of seats were empty, the local fans weren't engaged until the 3rd period - yet there were deafening cheers when VGK would have a perimeter rush through the neutral zone. Something fishy going on...

Also - T-Mobile Arena is nice from the outside, but it has fewer food/drink options than the Saddledome and the concourse was just as crowded. For those thinking a new arena will improve these issues, temper your expectations!

The Flames pipe in crowd noise at times - or at least they did a few years ago. Now with how loud the music is, I'm not sure if they do or not anymore.

Everybody does.
