Exactly!!! He got the puck, peel back and wait for your teammate. You don't change when the other team has the puck, god damned it!

“The fans want a result”. No, we want hockey. This 3 on 3 trash has to go!

I'm really growing tired of watching opposing teams challenge everything and get the calls and then the Flames just not bother. It's infuriating.

I got sucked into this once again and stayed up far too late in the EST to watch this. Put a fork in ‘em time. They are done playoff wise IMO
I’m never posted something this negative in my recollection but this is a hard team to care about. Off to bed

Honestly, his obsession with rolling 4 lines at key points is a big part of why other teams tilt the ice in the 3rd period. We roll out Lucic who can't keep up and they roll out Eichel.
Vegas played Eichel over 21 minutes and our best forwards get 17 minutes.
The league has changed and Sutter refuses to change with it.
Sutter is not the solution in the new NHL.

At this point in time Vegas is a better team than Calgary. I'll save my emotions for ridiculous games we lose against bottom feeders.

Goalies stink but the defense still isn’t doing them any favors. Trade Lewis and Lucic for literally future considerations, let’s see some kids. Playoffs are counterproductive at this point.
|
Outside of the 3rd goal, I didn't think the Flames had many massive defensive breakdowns. Certainly fewer than they normally do at least.

Then you'll have seen our defenseman knock him over into him.

Three rookies who have never played 3 on 3 at the NHL level out to start? Interesting idea....

This team still has no game breakers. Every game we hope that Kadri or Huby will show that ability when we need an important goal. However, it never happens. Huby scored in the first but I didn’t notice him after that. Lindy was quiet too.
|
Kadri isn't a game breaker though. Where is this expectation that he is? He's a complimentary player, that does good in a middle six role. But he shouldn't be expected to be top offensive player on the team.
Huby tho has that expectation. So asking more from him is fair.
