I just realized something.

What if Yoho just has everybody else on ignore somehow? Like maybe his kid played a prank on him and ignored all the main OT posters, or he rage ignored everyone once while drunk and forgot about it.

He's just doing his thing, surfing the net, and finds a tweet he thinks is interesting, posts it, and is disappointed nobody responds to him.

It'd be the ultimate meta-troll, with extra hilarity points because the consistent "solution" to Yoho has always been ignore him.

I never understand how anyone seriously says this if they've given it a modicum of thought. Why does discussion being conducted on the internet preclude it from being taken seriously? Because some people's kids that should have been swallowed instead of birthed learned how to use computers, normal people can't expect to have normal conversations without some jack-hole cocking them up?

If you joined a group for sharing recipes, would you be okay every now and then that some moron posted a recipe that was missing instructions, ingredients, or measurements, using the wrong ingredients / measurements altogether, toxic ingredients, labeled as a recipe for the completely incorrect food, or purported to be a dairy-free recipe but the first ingredient is whole cream? "Here's a recipe for chocolate cake", except the recipe does not have chocolate in it, is basically an angel food cake until half-way through it calls to add chili powder and a quart of used motor oil.

"Oh well, it's the internet, can't expect serious recipes to be shared on here," you'll shrug.

Yeah, I wouldn't have made a thread about it, myself, but it was getting pretty clear that enough people were getting frustrated with threads being derailed. The sig was just a funny but functional solution.

But there are two things that drive down thread quality, IMO.

Spam posts without engaging in meaningful discussion.
People who follow other posters around and jump on them every single time they say something.

Yoho is 100% doing #1.
PepsiFree is 100% doing #2.

People just don't say anything about PF because he is on 'their' side.

But are happy to want to ban Yoho.

I get what GGG is saying about Yoho being a bad-faith poster.
