Dube's on a 52 point pace and a ridiculous tear in the last 10
He is figuring out this level which is nice to see
One of a few bright spots

Happy to eat crow after my post in the GT. I stopped watching when Phx scored the third goal. Glad the team pushed back and didn’t cave in. 3 goals against is still an ugly stat but the shot clock indicates total domination for the good guys.

Throw in the play of Duehr and Pelts, the future looks bright.

Yup. You need 9 points (.641 point percentage).
Especially if you can get both off the Wild. If you get 4 off the Wild and .500 for the other 5 games that is a good outcome for this next 7 game stretch.

This team is so unpredictable.
Watch them win 5 of 7.

with his goal tonight Looch moves past David Jones and Wideman amongst others and into a tie for 82nd in Calgary Flames history with Jeff Shantz! Toffoli stays 2 ahead of him as he pulls in tied with Chris Clark and Brian MacLellan
they are in the quite the tier of all time greats right now!
otherwise Duehr and Pelletier moving up the bottom and the 2 Swedish heroes hold their 12th and 18th positions

Great to see Pelletier rewarded for all his good play. Same for Duehr. Yet another great effort.
As for Vladar, I didn't like the first or the third goals - he was too deep in the net on both. The first one I can forgive, but not the second one. He looked a lot like Markstrom at times tonight, backing in, and looking small. But he also played well at times.
It would be amazing if Wolf suddenly appeared tomorrow, and led them to their first ever win in Vegas.

All of the kids that they bring up become their better / best players with the best work ethic. Winning culture with the Wranglers. Bringing up Wolf makes sense for this reason in the one position we are truly struggling with. He will roll if he gets called up.

3 Division leaders, last year's champ, the team in 4th overall, and 2 against the team they're fighting for the last WC spot with.
Safe to say, the next 7 games are muy importante. Plus, the trade deadline is halfway through that stretch.

Super fun experience tonight. Great fans, great rink, great game. If the Flames keep playing like that they'll be just fine.
Highly recommend you check out a game here at the Mullett if you ever get a chance. So fun.

Couldn't watch too much tonight, but caught the GT (blech) and half the third period. Good result and went back and looked at the replays. Decent for them to come back after giving up two bad goals...but they shouldn't have had to.
Glad the kids were great!! Beauty goal by Duehr and a well-earned one by Pelts.
