Nope, watch it again. Turnover under no pressure because he indecisive with puck.

This game is a microcosm of the Flames season so far.
- Good first period with nothing to show for it: Check
- Goalie that can't make a big saved when called upon: Check
- Power play that generates nothing and drains momentum: Check

I was thinking the exact same thing on that goal. He looked exactly like Mike Smith, looking back and saying "how did that happen yet again."

Only the third line is a constant threat. I think you need to juggle the "top 2" lines again.

Our PP has looked bad all season for the last 7 or so years, it's been solely reliant on Johnny doing the heavy lifting.

Yeah. Bonding over their 70+ half-arsed leisurely skates
I truly wonder how many times we've been lied to our faces this season. Because if it was really like how they claim in front of the mics, this wouldn't be the on-ice product we're observing

Hard to point fingers, probably has nothing to do with the forward you extended 8 years on a franchise record contract.

LOL Hrudy saying that’s a big save by Marky. Wrist shot from inside the blue line....Okay actually that probably was a big save for him.

This is the problem with a team with not a lot of confidence. They "shot their shot" in the first period. Didn't get rewarded. Played decently in the first part of the second as well. Didn't get rewarded.
Missed a breakaway and other pp misses, and a goal goes in the other way and now they are lost, with no idea of of what it will take. Flyers then gain confidence as they are now. Stays 3-1 and Flames get next goal I bet we win.

I’d say it has more to do with a poor strategy based around static, perimeter shots.
…which is the basis for our even strength play too.

It’s not all on just one player. That would be great if that’s all it was.
