I find it interesting he pops like that against the Leafs given his leaked choices of where he wants to play. The Leafs could still make it work if the Hawks retain 50% and they send a contract like Kerfoot or Engval the other way. The goaltending is weak and the D is nothing to write home about but that forward group...wow.

He is also tough, plays with bite and is solid defensively.

To me Domi has red flags all over the place and wouldn't be worth the cost. He's having a great season, but he's in one of those situations where he's getting all the opportunities.


On another team, he would slot further down in the lineup presumably, and play with players not named Patrick Kane, so his production would probably go down. But that production is what you're going to pay for.

Hes not a star player who will take over games but he's a great complimentary player. Id rather him playing with star players insread of Lucic or Lewis.

why would ge slot further down? He's shown he can play well with star players. Maybe he could get Lindholm playing well.

I dont think the Flames should trade for him or anyone else but he should be a free agent target in the off season.
