Ottawa comeback started when the 4th line was out there with 3 minutes left. Gave all the momentum to them and then they got their big guys out there. The 4th line is awful to a man. Lewis has 5 golden opportunities tonight and got one ####ty shot on net.

The team defense could be better but tonight 2 of those final 3 goals are questionable (2nd and 4th) and you just can't count on him at all right now to make a big save.

The Flames held Ottawa to zero shots for a 20 minute span in this game

It’s not just that Markstrum is horrible - which he is - he is also one of the higher paid players on this team

He is being paid to steal games . I can’t remember a single game he stole this season . And at least 5 he outright lost and another 5 that it could be argued he was a primary contributor to the loss

After Markstrom's season last year, and how Vladar looks this year, I think it's stupid to blame Sigalet, and especially LaBarbara. Marky clearly didn't prepare in the summer as well as he did the previous one.

I think it really depends on who the Flames start in net (if they make the playoffs). Vladar and I agree it is a close series.

Sharp angle goal IMO was a great play because the first pass went to the slot and that’s where you expect the shot from. The one touch pass to the far side and a ripped shot is incredibly hard to stop because he’s set for the first one. It was probably the most difficult save of all, including the breakaway.
