Got stuck there because Stone had full control, gave it to Ritchie who was still in the zone, Ritchie loses it in the zone, and Stone ices it.

Dube like playing the Sens. I think his only NHL hat trick was against Ottawa.

Oh, I know. That was kind of my point. It caused problems.
Is it just me or is Gilbert > Stone?

I really like the minimal puck handling Markstrom is showing tonight. Huge weakness of his is getting carried away behind the net and either losing control or giving it away.

Gilbert has impressed me too.
Stone was good the first 10 games or so but since then I think Gilbert has been better than both him and Mackey in the games he's played

Wow. Brady's cherry picking is shameful.

Gilbert is good at keeping the puck in at the blue line

The last 2 games made me really appreciate the Hanifin - Tanev pairing. Maybe it's confirmation bias, but I'd like to see them keep it and try Weegar - Andersson when Andersson gets back.

Reminds me of how Kipper learned to play the puck. Simple passes away from the play. Get the big body in between a puck chaser and the puck.
It’s a good sign because he is concentrating and into the game IMO.

Stone is ok in small doses but he's a regular right now and that's not a good thing.
Also Hanifin looks better without Andersson.

Huberdeau's foot injury from earlier this season is still bothering him IMO.
A couple times a shift you will see him kind of labour a little in terms of putting pressure on his right skate in his stride.

I like Andersson...but he's actually been poor defensively this year IMO and Hanifin has had to cover for him a lot.
Playing with Tanev gives Hanifin a bit more freedom.

Was that Sarah Silverman in the Timmy’s ad? My brain can’t make the connection there… what a weird choice for both!

Crap. That was effective extra man play.
Hrudey jinxed it a minute ago.
