The Sunday final in Montpellier will be Jannik Sinner vs. Maxime Cressy as Cressy just eliminated Holger Rune in a third set tie-break.

Wow, Wu Yibing takes out Taylor Fritz and will play John Isner in the Sunday Dallas final. He is the first Chinese player in the open era to reach a ATP final.

Both Rebecca Marino and Leylah Fernandez won their matches in Qatar today. Which may have qualified them for the main draw?
(I do not know how to properly follow this).

Three rounds of qualifying for this tourney (quite rare), but I think the reason why is that it is the lone WTA tourney this week. Leylah needs to beat Pliskova to make the main draw while Rebecca will take on Bouzkova. These type of matchups are usually found in the quarter-finals or semi-finals of WTA tournaments.

Jannik Sinner was the only guy to break Maxime Cressy's serve this week and he ended up taking the title in Montpellier. 7 ATP titles now for Sinner, he's one of the cleanest ball strikers on tour in my opinion, just has trouble staying healthy.

The Sinner backhand is a Hugh Clarke favourite and will carry him far. He will eventually turn all those 5 set heartbreaks into veteran mental resilience.

We could have a Tsitsipas - Sinner round 2 match in Rotterdam, that's crazy.

Quite the 3rd set tie-break in Dallas between Isner and Wu for the championship - 12-12 currently as they switch sides.
Edit: Wu takes it 14-12 and makes history as the first Chinese man to win an ATP title.

It should probably be noted that Isner hit 44 aces today.

No breaks at all. Wu has 2 break points, Isner 3.

1 up and 1 down in Doha as Rebecca Marino makes the main draw after defeating Bouzkova 7-5 6-1. Unfortunately, Pliskova took out Leylah 6-2 7-5

Rebecca gets Daria Kasatkina next which won't be easy, but if she serves well and keeps the points short, she certainly has a chance. Kasatkina can run forever, so Rebecca needs to avoid a grind fest from the baseline.

Big win for Sofia Kenin just now defeating Liudmila Samsonova 6-3 6-1 in Doha. It has been a real struggle for Kenin since winning the 2020 Aussie Open and it's great to see her playing well again.

Zverev just eliminated Kwon in straight sets which means that the Felix - Sonego match will be starting shortly.
