Even if flames wanted him would he be a fit in Sutters system? I’m generally asking because I don’t watch a lot of Arizona games

I should add I agree. That's why I standby my earlier rumour of LA and Boston.

Don't think AZ has any use for Kylington.

Coronato? Wolf? Dunno they wouldn't be interested with something/someone else thrown in.

That would be crazy, and good for Arizona to attain a talent like that

It's also Kevin "Tkachuk" Weekes though

Only way I can see it being the Flames are swapping some players besides Chychrun I think. Any decent forwards on the Coyotes that are available

If the Flames did win the Chychrun sweeps with Shilly involved that'd be some full circle stuff as the traded with ARZ to get Shilly to begin with.

Yes. I'm interested in Hayton and Bjustadt. SCHMATLZ also I could see being something the Flames would want.

Marek on HNIC just said definitely not Oilers or Leafs.

He also said Kings are throwing cold water on it but that could be because it is Dustin Brown night

Hayton isn't going anywhere. Playing 1C and having a great run after an incredibly slow start.

Bjugstad, maybe.

If the Flames are doing anything big, I always thought it would be Chychrun.

- Could be a PP QB and our PP badly needs one
- Team believes in building from the back out and down the middle
- Chychrun has a good contract, and is some protection against losing Hanifin. That contract is the type of contract Treliving would spend heavily to acquire because he’d be here long term

I certainly wouldn’t agree with doing it, but it makes a lot of sense when you think about how this team is coached and managed.

Interesting Lou mentioned that he heard Pagnotta mention that something big could happen for the Flames by Monday during the pregame show this morning. This does have the marks of a Treliving move getting a player with multiple years left on his deal.

Flames could trade Hanifin in the summer time and if Kylington comes back next year the D is in good shape. Feels like Coronato and the 23 1st would need to be on the table

It's only acceptable if they absolutely know for a fact he isn't signing with CGY. I don't want that to be true though.

Yeah, if Coronato won’t sign and they can use him in a deal to get a player of Chychrun’s caliber you do it every time. This is a very good young defenseman.

Otherwise, I’m not sure it’s the right move for the Flames right now.

Flames win 7-2 and fans have already forgotten the bad times this season.

There’s absolutely no way you mortgage what little future we have in the prospect pool and your 1st in the deepest draft since 2004 at this point.

For the love of god, I hope this goes away fast.
