Haha, yup. I was going to watch, but saw the 2-0 score and didn't bother. Logged in at 2-2 and was pleasantly surprised with the rest.

Let's hope this is the turning point game for the team.

There is a talented team in there. They need to find chemistry, confidence and consistency
Agreed.

I think that's why it was great to play Buffalo they play aggressive and we countered and played our best two periods since game 7 vs Dallas.

A lot of rush chances the D joining the rush and coming down hard in the circles to keep the pressure on.

It's how we have to play to win. It's a rush game and we just need to accept the fact our goaltending isn't going to win many games this season.

Pelletier goes to the net! Hooray.

Pelletier better not be sent down. He has shown, scoreboard or not, that he belongs. Fantastic game for him.

It seemed to me that in the 3rd period when Buffalo started putting pressure on the Flames, whenever the Flames would cough up a puck, they did a really good job of coming back and cleaning up the mess. Have seen very little of this throughout the season, so far.

I was watching the Buffalo feed to start the game and one of the keys to the game they said was for Buffalo to bring a lot of pressure since the Flames are known for gift wrapping chances for their opponents. This is absolutely true and so unlike what I'd expect from a Sutter-coached team. Hopefully, they are starting to come around and will increasingly clean up that part of their game.

Lol Buffalo announcers said Calgary gift wraps chances for their opponents

I guess they would know...they are so bad defensively. They give SJ a run for their money.

It was a good game, and only one stinker from Markstrom, so that's good. The Flames deserved to win, but I think they got some good luck because Luukonnen was not very good. Whatever though, the Flames were overdue for some good luck.

Nice to see Pelletier finally get rewarded. There is a lot of room for growth, but he hasn't looked out of place.

I hope Rosie was watching Pelletier closely. Dial up the energy and get in the middle of the action Ruzicka!

He let in a softy or two, but also made a few 10 bell saves and was saved by the post multiple times. The Flames didn’t get lucky, they just combined dominant territorial play with average finishing for a change, and Marky came up with the key saves when needed.

Top 3 lines all did some good things, but the 4th line was still a tire fire

Didn't even get to watch this one becauseit was so early (night worker). Glad they stepped up in a big way after the poor showing in Detroit.

After looking average in the top six, Lucic has been exposed multiple times recently. Ritchie wasn’t much better, but there me just nothing there. No stick work, no finesse, no physicality, no speed. Lewis carries the hell out of that line.

Put Ruzicka back and give us Duehr again. The whole game the team was on another level and Lucic and Ritchie looked completely out of place.

Was at the international pee wee tournament in Quebec City.

They announced Pelletier's goal live and he got a great reaction from the crowd.

I have not being on the Lucic-hate bandwagon but my thought today was that they're almost embarrasing him more by playing him than sitting him. I've really appreciated what he has brought to this team but I'm starting to see more and more of what others have been saying about his play.

Ritchie played his first game in a long time...he has been good in his role this season
