Serious question, is there anything entertaining about this team? Slow, poor defence, don’t hit or fight much, no quality chances. This is as dull and frustrated I have been since the young gun days.

You could almost come up with an excuse for every goal. Screened, hard impossible shots, deflection blah blah

But end of the day, you pay the guy top dollar to stop them.

It’s to the point you can predict what’s going to happen:

- if Markstrom is in net. Goal in the first 3 shots.
- minimum of 3 momentum killing penalties
- zero goals on powerplay
- 30 shots to get first goal

Horrendous.

Yes but no goaltender was going to stop the first one, that’s a goal every time
