Remember when, during the intermission of a game around this time of the year 10ish years ago, the former Flames windbag GM said that if the team didn’t pick it up, there were changes coming right away next week. The team lost that game and nothing happened a few days later.

That was more on the former GM and his preference to be dramatic and the fact he didn’t meet a microphone he didn’t like, but goes to show 2nd or third hand rumours about “what will happen Monday” is usually hot air.

I just want Vladar to get every start besides back to backs. I’ve seen enough from our tandem to know who the best bet is the get the W every night


Going to the backup after every loss is a silly system. So many factors play in to the game. Neither goalie was at fault directly for the last two losses

Markstrom is not the backup no matter how much you want him to be. It's going to take a prolonged period of Vladar getting the bulk of the starts before you can say he's officially the starter.

I can't remember a time I had less confidence in a Flames goalie. No play feels safe, and I'm sure the team feels some of that playing in front of him.
