I made no statement that implied their weren’t a lot of well educated right wing journalists.
Which specific statement do you object to. How does the that objection challenge my argument and what is your position that is contrary to mine.

Your inference that because journalist are college educated they lean left.
I don’t think it’s true and has nothing to do with education, their pay check leans left is all I think is happening.

So if I provide you evidence that
College graduates are more liberal as a group then non-college graduates
Women are more liberal than men
Women represent a greater portion of college graduates then men
Journalists employed by CBCs have college degrees
Would you accept that the pool of people from which CBC are hired from is more liberal than the general population?

I think the gist is that uneducated journalists appeal to an uneducated demographic.

Do you think all journalists are that bought and paid for? Left journalists are bought and paid for by Trudeau government?
If so, you should wonder who bought and paid for the right leaning journalists…

I'm not a supporter of the NDP but this article seems spot on. For those that do support the NDP or have historically, how do you feel about the job Jagmeet has done? From an outsiders perspective all he seems to have done is prop up the Trudeau government without getting much, if anything, in return.

Jordan Peterson and Rex Murphy: Jagmeet Singh is an empty suit, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma
Normally, when a lesser party aligns with a greater, the lesser leader (certainly a plausible description in this case) is rewarded with a seat at the cabinet table and with something approximating a formal and public agreement about the formulation of a joint policy. Neither of which are Singh’s. He does, however, retain the full power to Tweet.

Not only that, but why don’t right leaning parties / politicians try and beat the Liberals at their own game? If the Liberal platform is to pay CBC X-dollars, why don’t the Conservatives do X + Y?

That would be a coalition government, which we have not seen in Canada since confederation. While popular in other countries, Canadian political parties are loath to hand cabinet spots to other parties (I can't remember if Dion offered cabinet seats to the NDP in 2008).
Nor would i argue that Singh's "unconditional" support of the liberals over this time is anything new to what we have seen third parties do in previous minority governments.
Whether or not it is true, Singh could at least argue that he was the steering hand in propping up the most left wing government Canada has ever had

Because you can't criticize them for their political bias, and offer them more money at the same time. I have always thought that Conservatives should work harder to get the CBC on their side, rather than adopting policies that threaten them.

No you see it works like this:
Government spends money on something I don't like = buying votes
Government spends money on something I do like = good policy
Government gives out money to me = a fair deal for the middle class
Government gives out money to people who aren't me = buying votes
Got it?

To preface, even though I voted CPC in the 2011 federal election, the one and only time I liked the Federal NDP was because of Jack Layton, who seemed to do an admirable job in the role of Opposition leader and honestly represented the views of the party's supporters. The Federal NDP haven't been the same party since Layton passed away, it feels like they're a bit less... genuine? Like, when Jack Layton said something, you felt like he believed it. Singh has been an ideological wind-sock.

It not only reflects poorly on the politicians that engage in vote buying, it also reflects poorly on the voters who have come to expect it. Unfortunately, the voters have become so accustomed to vote buying by all parties, that politicians have no choice but to do it, if they want to win.
