Horrible game from Kadri.
Mangiapane skates away as Lafreniere wins it in overtime.
Trouba with two devastating open ice hits and won fights. Lucic blown up by Blais but gave him a scary glare afterwards.

What is this team's strength?
Penalties in OT?

Great game and a spirited effort from the boys.

Some of you have been complaining about boring hockey this year - nothing boring about that one!

Cripes. He was one of the best players on the Flames tonight, if not the best. Made some massive saves. Goals let in were breakaways, 2 on 1s, guy left all alone in front. He didn't let in 5 muffins from the blueline. Just a weird game to pin any blame on him whatsoever.

Yeah I thought Zadorov slid behind the net from playing the 2-1.

Nope was just going for a leisurely skate for no reason.

There was a rumour he almost made it to the Bruins this off-season.

Huberdeau, Kadri and Lindholm need to put their ####ing work boots on already

Embarrassing for them how much the third line and D have to carry the load for them offensively

I'd rather Fox booed and Lucic munching popcorn in the press box. Someone that can actually play hockey can deal with Trouba.

I’m not sure if the avalanche are the team to use as the benchmark.

If the flames can show the necessary emotion in games down the stretch against some very bad teams, that is not that tough of a record to get to.

Flames have done a fine job keeping games close and getting to OT. 3 on 3, they’re a tire fire but that really means nothing come April.

Not enough from Lindholm, Huberdeau, Mangiapane. I’d sure like Pelletier to get some points - I think he will explode.

Don't agree with this but the rest I agree. Mangiapane played good tonight and score a goal.

Was just going to say - a lot of posters say they’d rather see entertaining losses that boring wins. Well, here you go.

His goal was a bit lucky, and close to a call back. terrible on the OT goal and a non-factor the rest of the night

Sure I’ll do it.

Encouraging game from Markstrom tonight. Sure the stats don’t look great, but he kept them in it tonight.

Vladar likely starts the next game but I think his game is on the come up.

Not the best way to start post all start from the big man, but I’ll take the point. You could even say Marky got the team that point.

Onto the next one gents.

I would have tried Huberdeau with Pelletier in OT but then I would not have played Z so what do I know?

Oh and Tkachuk with 5 point tonight. 71 on the season. Jeeze.

Kadri does things you just wish he wouldn’t.
Huberdeau utterly invisible as he has been many times.

And yet somehow this team nearly pulled it out.
