I actually think he would - but the bigger piece here is that Lucic should be hitting Rangers as hard as Trouba is hitting Flames. That’s the only utility he has. He should be forcing Trouba to come after him by being effective in his role.

Flames really need to stop fighting. Every time, we have gave a PP to the Rags. The refs are just not having it tonight.

Flames are still in this. They’ve been the better team by a slim margin. Unlucky couple posts, the dribbler past Halak that was knocked away.

It was Lucic and his fight vs Olivier that gave life to the Flames vs the Blue Jackets. So, let's hope he does that again. Though, that was much earlier on in the game.

I didn't have a problem with either hit, but if McDavid got caught cutting to the middle like Kadri, it Trouba 100% gets a penalty. Can't be in McDavid's lane when he drives the net.

It was a bad penalty by Dube. But that said, the reffing has been no good and maybe they feel like they have to do something because the refs aren’t. Blais should have had a major, got nothing. Trouba’s looked pretty head shottish to me as well. Tanev shouldn’t have gotten any extra penalty. Lucic’s was a weak call too, compared to everyone else on the ice.

I really hope the Flames win this one. They really need it.

This season has been so weird. The Flames looked so good at the start of the season, then Sutter changed up the lines, and since then, it’s been a rare game when things have looked easy for the Flames. They just don’t seem to have any game breakers.

Those kind of hits are extremely dangerous. and in my mind dirty af

surprise surprise what does he do again ? every time he hits another player he doesn't target the head but he always finishes through it

I love a big hit but how are these kind of hits any different from straight head shots ? International hockey gives out penalties for any head contact (which I don't completely agree with)

Trouba has injured several players with his hitting stlye , and for those dissing Dube . Isn't someone supposed to stand up , for his teammate on the ice ? the code and all
