Poirier could be in the coach's doghouse...
Pelletier isn't going to be called up any time soon....
Pettersen I thought was performing well.
Hope there's no injuries...

Looks like Wolf has come in for Dansk? Injury I assume, as only 1 goal against....

Lavoie collided with Dansk, no penalty on the play. Wasn’t intentional, but it was a pretty bad collision.
Duehr with the winner with 4.6 seconds left!

Phillips' best game in quite a while. Great stuff

Wranglers are off now for the AHL All Star break. They don't play again until the 10th. Hopefully any injuries will be short term.

Is there no offside challenge in the AHL? Unless there is some sort of loophole I’m unaware of (which is entirely possible), I thought the GWG was pretty clearly offside.
The ref was checking the iPad in the penalty box but it wasn’t clear if it was actually being challenged.

I didn’t think he was that noticeable 5-on-5, maybe it’s just because I wasn’t watching him closely. The multiple power plays certainly helped though.

He was certainly in the zone before the puck, but as long as the linesman considered him to be in possession of the puck, that's okay. Phillips was smart enough to drag his leg to ensure he didn't go in before the puck.

^^ I never really understood the “in possession” rule — I think it’s the same in the NHL — but that makes sense. You can see the linesman call it onside right away.

Watching live I thought it might have been Phillips who was offside with Duehr in control of the puck. But I haven’t actually watched the goal since.

Phillips made a really nice play at the blueline to stay onside. Really heady play that led to the goal.

Came into town for my first Wrangler game last night and it did not disappoint! it was awesome being at the dome without that much people. Pocket dog lineup was short!
I thought Wolf had a good game after coming in for injured Dansk. He stopped Jason Demers on breakaway on a flames 5 on 3 powerplay (how did that happen). Sitting behind Wolf you can that he is small.
Phillips had a good game, and I noticed Sutter actually quite a bit, of course Duehrs skating esp looked a cut above the rest.
It was fun at the end because on Duehrs game winning goal with less then 5 seconds left as he skated by the Condors bench I believe Esposito stuck out his stick and clipped him in the face (typical oiler move). A bench brawl nearly ensued after the final buzzer, and to be honest I wish it had. Was happy to see a fight (Klapka).
Fun times and I will be going to more Wranglers games before the season ends!

yeah I saw the warning signage at the last Flames game but they hadn't named the price yet
anyways that was my occasional guilty pleasure, that I've been trying to eliminate- and they've made it easier for me now to do so! will happily go to the game and consume nothing

Well no more popcorn at games now. They just keep jacking up the pricing for everything. I get inflation, but their markups have been and continue to be absurd.

The cashier I spoke to said most people were declining the butter/extra charge. This was in the club section, albeit at a Wranglers game.

How often does a goalie get MVP in an All-Star Game?
