Ha, hardly

The weird thing is a lot of the accounts have only a handful of followers, and appear to be coming from India, which has me questioning if it's genuine traffic

Since last night there were over a thousand likes,. since I began writing this post, 86.

What!

Damn.

I remember going on that when I was about 16, I was sat next to this hot girl, she would have been 19-20.

Just before we started I bent to do something with my show shoe, probably tie it up. The coaster took off and I was there stuck with my head bent over, until we turned left then it was forced over into her crotch/chest.

I think she enjoyed the ride less than me.

That's my go to. Because science and because you can't understand it yet. But I also never forget to say I don't know. Otherwise, he'll ask about everything and expect a legit answer. God help me when this strategy ceases to work.

I feel for Puxlut. I got similar questions as well. But my 4 year old asked not just about glass, but he was clever enough to ask about ice as well. Then... there's plastic and acrylic which I tacked on to attempt to overload that young mind into submission (didn't work). This was probably the day he learned about the different states of matter in preschool.

What's also scary is that the younger one is absorbing knowledge faster than the older one and already asking more complicated questions than my son did at the same age.

On one hand I'm annoyed that I was/am in my late 30's before discovering the magic that is peanut butter and Nutella sandwiches. On the other hand, if my mom ever bought that stuff when I was a kid I'd probably be 300 pounds by now

Considering Mindbender was A) not a launch coaster and B) had snug over the shoulder harnesses, I think I'm gonna call shenanigans on this story...

I just had my first PB/Nutella sandwich last week, and didn't really care for it tbh. Maybe if I added strawberry jam into it too that would've worked.

Those were shockingly only added post crash in ‘86. I was stunned to learn that back in the day a rollercoaster with 3 vertical loops only needed a lap bar for restraints.

This announcement about the closure sucks. It was an awesome rollercoaster.

The Mindbender was the roughest most bone-rattling roller coaster I've ever been on. After riding it, I had a headache the rest of the day and a sore neck for a few days.

That was almost 20 years ago, so I can't imagine it got any better in recent years.

That thing only had lapbars to start? Lol my goodness, that's insane. I just assumed it always had the proper ones.

It was the 80s, a time when Amusement Park Engineering was a wild industry and safety concerns were met with a casual snort of cocaine and a proclamation of 'Good Enough.'

Oh the heady days of amusement parks prior to the advent of Jurassic Park that proclaimed 'Spared No Expense!'

For the West Edmonton Mall expenses were spared...oh how expenses were spared...

Living on a corner lot, with no alley, with a driveway as a bus stop, on a bus route, with boulevards, with elderly neighbours, is probably the stupidest thing in the world. Doesn’t matter what you do, how ####ing diligent you are, you’re out there moving snow after moving snow only for the plow to come on by and block everyone in and you’re out there moving snow and moving snow and you clear the fuxking bus pad but the ####ing bus driver pulls right the #### up on your driveway and you get so god damned close to just burning the house down so you don’t spend all your ####ing time maintains city owned property for the enjoyment of short god damned term renters and mother####ing bus riders

Also, did your realtor, wife, trusted friend, random internet person not warn you about a corner lot?
