Speaking of jerseys...the jersey the Flames have on tonight is my favorite non-Hawk NHL jersey.

Now you are just cherry picking to suit your narrative.

This year the Flames have come out hard most nights, goals or not. They’ve badly outshot the opponents. What they’ve done badly in first periods is give up grade A chances against the flow of play.

Literally no one here is backing you up on this, and the stats aren’t on your side either.

Lucic down to the 4th line. Pelletier up to the 3rd line. Coleman up to the 2nd line.

I've really liked the details in Pelletier's game. He's very, very smart. Ridiculously high hockey IQ and seems destined to stick in the NHL.

Is the era of showcasing Lucic on the second line over? Could the bidding war for Lucic’s services at the deadline be heating up early?

I only caught the last ~7-8 minutes.
Is Peltier on Backlund's line? It looked like Coleman was playing with Kadri and Huberdeau.

What does everyone here consider a good start are we discussing the period as a whole or a portion of the 1st.

I always thought a start was the first 10 of the 1st. Not to discount our first period as a whole but just a question.

Peters always talked about it and I thought those teams always started on time.

if Boston will take him for pennies in real salary I'll take it!

provided that we use the space toward a depth D and a forward like Domi

I believe that my guys are the worst in the league, in many things, but, mostly in 2nd period scoring differential.

Yup, you still are arguing despite what every player has said about the starts. They badly outshot the opponent every night because they throw everything at the net. Even then on many nights they get outshot in the 1st and play from behind. This is something the players and the coach have commented on all year, you are wrong, as usual. For a high profile lawyer you sure have a bunch of time to spend on CP, you are never not on here. Here I thought lawyers worked a lot of hours. I am sure as shown by winning the gold in lawyering that doesn't apply to you though. Edit: actually the stats are on my side, go look.
