That was a slick little goal by 10.

Last game, in the first period.

The hate for Markstrom is insane considering the defense Vladar got last game for a much uglier short side goal.
Also, considering Mackey was the off defenseman and had his man, why is he getting all the crap? His shift seemed fine to me

It was an excellent shot. More concerned that he didn't really react to it and was small and closing his holes instead of stretching out for it than by the fact that it beat him (as it might well have beat him anyways). That's offset by some really good saves on the breakaways though, so overall a decent performance from him.

Not saying we won’t win this game (nice goal by huberdeau!) but I do think repeated attempts to get Markstrom going is one of the bigger factors that puts the playoffs in jeopardy.
Goalies occasionally have bad seasons and they recover the next season. It might be time for Darryl to acknowledge that it’s just not meant to be for markstrom this season.

Yeah. Vladar would be getting the benefit of the doubt on that goal.
Mackey could have gotten the puck down the ice and didn’t. He also has looked bad all season

the team REALLY does need to learn some finishing plays with their odd man rushes . what they've done with those chances has been embarrassingly sad. 2/3 of the time ending without a shot on goal. pathetic.
have a few ****ing set plays that everybody learns with rotating partners so that no matter who's breaking in they can do something with the opportunity

Vladar doesn't make $6 MM per year and isn't one of the highest paid goalies in the league. Maybe that's why he gets a pass more often?

We're getting points and are right in the heart of the race, but it feels like every game is a struggle; no one should ever be suggesting that a game against a bottom team is an easy two points for the Flames.
Every time I see/hear that, we look like this.

Sometimes I don't think you even watch or you are just arguing because I posted it. Everybody on this board knows the Flames have had issues starting on time this year. You are totally off base here.

Was there a time when I watched the intermission garbage? Because honestly it’s like torture now. I turn the channel as soon as the horn goes. There’s some women’s college basketball on. I hate college, I hate basketball and I hate…anyways, I’m gonna watch that instead because SN intermission sucks.

At game speed, I thought it was kind of lucky, but on the slow-mo replay, it was so slick.

those are the kind of hands I remember. He's just been a little off all year, but if he starts to get comfortable...to quote Loubo..."look out!"
