He wasn't great tonight, with a back to back coming up they will each get one game

Ya, your analysis of games pretty much confirms what I think. You were a college player probably the dinos number 7 playing center. That guy that played a good fair bit of competitive hockey but nothing actually close to a pro game. Never got over that self awareness. Playing for the dinos is way below ncaa.
That goal was lucky. VLADAR had it but it barley , by barley I was as close as they come to being sealed off it leaked at very slow motion leak.

So my day started with Flames win. Ngl, when they went to OT I didn't have any faith for them to win it, especially with Johnny playing for the opposition. I even had a dream last night that CBJ won, so of course I thought that I jinxed the team in my sleep. But HOLY DUBE! He really is something else this year and he just keeps elevating!
And boy am I happy for Bread; he's had a rough start, but it has not been an effort issue. Sometimes the monkey is tight on your back and it looks like he has finally shrugged it off.
Pelts and Duehr had yet again a good game, I really hope both of them stay up. Not sure how things are gonna roll after Ritchie gets back.
I'd say a good, not great, 50 minute effort. OT finally looked like what it's supposed to look like; puck possession and not forcing plays. It should've never gone to OT, but when fire team wins, I'm happy. GFG!!!

Vladar lets in as many bad goals as Markstrom but seems to get better run support. Would be nice to see one of them shut things down and run with it

Schenn will be on PP1 if Sutter gets his hands on him.

The numbers between Vladar and Markstrom are getting closer. Vladar: 90.2%, 2.81 GAA. Markstrom: 89.5%, 2.82 GAA.
Vladar has been awesome in his role, but the Flames need Markstrom to reset and become a $6M goalie again.
I’m hoping Markstrom can reset mentally during this break and come back ready to go.

Always get a kick out of someone calling themselves a realist.

You must find a lot of routine things tiring!
Duehr is a bottom roster player that is likely never going to rise above the bottom 1/3 of the team in ice time in any night. But he's a solid speedy addition to the fourth line.
Jacob Pelletier is game #2 of his NHL career and learning the level.
The Flames had something like 12 player at 60%+ xGF last night.

I think the too many men was correct.
When they were discussing it a player skated into the view from the center ice side of the ice. But when they did the replay they didn't show that high when they counted to five.
Think they had six but we never saw a wide enough view of the ice.

Schenn would be a good add. Especially since Tanev looks to be fairly injury prone this year.
None of the young guys have stood out enough.

Nice to see these young guys get some looks and not appear out of place.

Yeah almost like the Dice Line in the mid 80s.
Team had McDonald, Loob, Nilsson etc up front ... but a young line making waves and scoring secondary goals in Wilson/Kromm and Patterson
