Dude, I just looked through your last 100 posts, not a single positive thing said. Just this team/player/coach is awful. Get a life.

That's NHL officiating every night no matter who is playing. It is beyond sub par but whenever anyone in the league points it out they get fined and the league doesn't seem to care.

Yeah that's really the story for me coming out of this one. If it's looking more like a LT thing then the Flames will probably have to shift strategies pretty quickly and begin targeting another D. They have internal options but nothing remotely resembling Tanev. Arguably their most important player, period.

I don't think he's nearly as good but I could see their target being Luke Schenn.

Aside from all that — really not a whole lot to single out for anything resembling negative commentary. A strong win all around.
You’re trying too hard Scorp!

The Flames were fine….but really missed Tanev.

Actually that might have been the best OT ANY team has played this year. That was pure puck domination.

There was a noticeable emphasis on possession this 3v3 and they didn’t try to force anything

Not at all! It ended up evening up so really nothing to lose any sleep about. I thought it was pretty brutal at both ends.

See above re: Tanev ... this is where they could really use Kylington but (not knowing anything) I wouldn't exactly count on it. Could see them jumping ahead of the queue in the trade market.

Let’s put the win aside and focus the next 35 pages on Wisers affiliations.

I liked Kadris play where he just took it and left the zone, took a huge wide arc to gain speed to enter the zone for a quality shot.

Not a bad strategy especially if the other two can maybe get open or crash for a rebound. Sometimes when they are going too slow in OT the passing plays can be really predictable and easy to defend so when Kadri got going he was going prettt fast.

I think this is it too, just everyone watches with their fan bias so it always seeeeeems worse for their team.

And any given night it could be, but it's just pure chance nestled in a thick valour robe of general incompetence.

It's a fine line though.

If Laine scored on his move in OT then we are all saying that they skated around the outside with their possession and didnt try to make a play.

You don't want to force it in a risky spot, but at some point in OT you do need to try to make a play and beat somebody 1:1 to get a chance.
