I dunno about these comparisons. Huberdeau was clearly better than Johnny in the first. And Johnny’s best plays were on a surprisingly passively defended power play. Other than that he’s been on the outside a lot, just like always.

Of course Huberdeau isn’t carrying the puck as much as him but that’s just not his game. He has made some great plays tonight though. His mates haven’t capitalized. He created the second goal though.

maybe we need to learn to dive when there's interfering/contact given the sympathy for divers these days

flames aren't going to win many calls the honest way

Johnny doing the McDavid thing for the BJ's, all offence no defence and keeping em treading water, and keeping fans interested.

They are so bad this year you can't blame him but hard to compare to the better Johnny (huby) when winning isn't a concern anymore.
