I'd take Mick McGeough over this generation of league mandated yes-men
can we just get some rulebook integrity, regardless of the jersey? ######

Not hard with zero defensive responsibility on the worst team in the league.

Definitely. He's making the plays happen. But his teammates are actually finishing rather than fumbling the puck.

I dunno about these comparisons. Huberdeau was clearly better than Johnny in the first. And Johnny’s best plays were on a surprisingly passively defended power play. Other than that he’s been on the outside a lot, just like always.
Of course Huberdeau isn’t carrying the puck as much as him but that’s just not his game. He has made some great plays tonight though. His mates haven’t capitalized. He created the second goal though.

Gaudreau -2
Huberdeau +1
Huberdeau was a big factor on that 2nd goal too despite not getting a point

Johnny doing the McDavid thing for the BJ's, all offence no defence and keeping em treading water, and keeping fans interested.
They are so bad this year you can't blame him but hard to compare to the better Johnny (huby) when winning isn't a concern anymore.
