Which is insane.
For a whole host of reasons.

First of all, this isnt Boudreau's first rodeo, he knows the score. He's not going to quit.

He isnt going to do anything crazy or stupid because he either wants the rest of his money or another job.

So if this was the Canucks' plan, which by all accounts it certainly appears to have been...it is 'window licking stupid.'

			Really feel bad for Boudreau.
Likely his last stint as a NHL coach and it ends like this.

Horrible handling of the situation by management here

This all looks so bad on the Canucks Still a long way to go down I think
And just 2 years ago I was pretty sure they were on their way to being a pretty good team and had some good up and coming talent

Tomorrow Bruce is going to wake up with a huge weight off his shoulders, the sun will be brighter, the birds will be singing and he'll be free of that disaster of an organization. Congratulations Bruce. Now on to better, more rewarding endeavours.

I know a couple of Canucks fans. They’re both livid about how the organization handled Boudreau. I almost feel sorry for them.

There was always circumstantial evidence the ownership in Vancouver were incompetent, but this pretty much seals it.

The fans, as a group, are all livid.

While not all of us agree whether he was the right coach for the job, we all agree that how this has been handled has been absolutely dog ####. #### the Aqualinis. #### Rutherford. #### Allvin.

I hope the team just quits on Tocchet out the gate and the gambling #### stick doesn't make it to September. I will never actively choose for the team I cheer for to lose, because that's an Oiler thing, but if they didn't win another game the rest of the season and still ended up drafting third, that would be a very karmic thing and would be super befitting of the organization right now.

I like to think I'm a pretty even keel fan, but this has me close to done. I can live with teams I love losing. I can live with bad decisions that at least have a "Well, I get it. I don't agree but I get it." How this has been handled has me so apathetic with the product on the ice and livid with the organization that I just can't do it.

The world of business makes no sense to me. I get that having this Gordon Gekko "money never sleeps" attitude is what these people like the Aquillinis embody, and has served them well. They're worth billions for a reason. But what I don't get is such visible incompetence from people so well versed in the world of business. You would think these people have hired and fired hundreds of people. How could they be so successful in one world and be so meddlesome and just...bad in another?

Ya those are sort of weird tweets, but honestly nothing worth pulling out the pitchforks for. He's a hockey guy, what do we expect?

Apparently Vancouver was going to lead the way on inclusive and diverse hiring, more female representation and less traditional "hockey guy" stuff.

So while I agree with you it's not pitchfork worthy, they made the effort to be that team and now will be at a higher level of scrutiny for these things.
